Applications are invited for the post of District Judge (Entry Level) in
Chhattisgarh Higher Judicial Service :-
in the pay scale of Rs. 51550-1230-
58930-1380-63070 in the cadre of Higher Judicial Service by direct
recruitment from the Bar. Recruitment to these posts and conditions of
service shall be governed by the Chhattisgarh Higher Judicial Service
(Recruitment and Conditions of Service), Rules 2006, as on the last date
of submission of application forms.

Eligibility :- (a) No person shall be eligible for appointment by direct recruitment unless, he or she – (i) is a citizen of India, (ii) has attained the age of 35 years and has not attained the age of 45 years on the first day of January in the year in which applications for appointment are invited i.e. 01/01/2016, provided that upper age limit shall be relaxed upto a maximum limit of 3 years for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes; (iii) has for at least seven years been an advocate as on 01/01/2016. (iv) has good character and is of sound mind and body and free from any bodily and mental disability which renders him unfit for such appointment.
